Designing IDA’s channel strategy with a journey-mindset

IDA (The Danish Union for Engineers) faced fragmented digital experiences across its digital channels, risking member frustration and missed opportunities for engagement. Together with IDA, we developed a unified channel strategy to connect their digital ecosystem into a seamless, member-centric journey — laying a strategic and practical foundation for relevant, engaging, and consistent experiences across the entire member lifecycle.

In an industry where speed, convenience, and trust define customer loyalty, dao wanted to take its customer service experience to the next level. Together with dao and our partner Abtion, we created a conversational AI assistant that empowers customers to get instant answers in their own words — reducing friction, improving satisfaction, and freeing up dao’s team to focus on complex needs. Since launch, the AI assistant has significantly cut repetitive inquiries and provided actionable insights to improve content and service delivery.
